On April 9, xxxx, a lovely gray and white kitty that we have since named Fia gave birth to six adorable kittens, at an apartment complex in Greenville. It was evident that sweet Fia had been abandoned by her previous owner, and she was having difficulty with the birth. So a SG4F's volunteer rushed her and the newborns to the Pet Emergency Clinic, where they worked to stop Fia's bleeding. With much prayer, Fia recovered beautifully, was returned to the volunteer's home to be fostered, and was able to raise her little darlings in a loving environment, safe and sound. Her little tabby baby girl, Fame, grew up in the foster home during a time when adoptions were slow. She is used to children and other cats, and would even do well with a doggie that isn't too rough. Fame is affectionate, and likes to cuddle up in bed. She also loves to play--especially with feather wands! She can jump so high trying to catch the feather, that we wonder if she might be trying out for the circus. Fame has a lovely white bib and white feet, and her coat is glossy with health. Her adoption fee is $75.00 in cash, and a good vet reference is required.
